I often teach students about creating “found” poetry, although I rarely practice that art myself. But when the literary review Herontree set forth an unusual challenge, I was tempted to try my hand. They asked poets to write a poem based solely on the words and phrases from a 1905 publication entitled “How to Keep Bees” by Anna Botsford Comstock.
